WELCOME!

This will be the 3rd time I will be running the London Marathon and raising money and awareness for Diabetes UK. This charity means a lot to me as both my brother and father died through diabetes complications. I am also a Physiotherapist for the NHS working to help people with disabilities and Diabetes is a major cause of disability in the world.

As is tradition I will run the marathon as a live radio broadcast. Previously it was as Radio Davemate but this year it will be as part of the global broadcast Dave Lowen Radio Show which is a weekly show on the Community Radio Station Forest FM.

The show marathon show will be just like previous years where I will be running and broadcasting the marathon live through the streets of London and Micks (The Producer) will be at the helm at the studio making sure it all runs smoothly. The show will feature great music (including live sessions), interviews and stories of fellow runners as well as my thoughts and reflections and take on the London Marathon whilst on the run from the start to the finish line.
